Children’s book benefits St. Mary’s

A new Christmas story has been written by Bobbi Hess, St. Mary’s Development Director.  “Merry The Christmas Witch” tells the tale of a good witch  who was born on Christmas Day.  Merry struggles to be accepted by her fellow witches only to be branded as an outcast.

When the evil witches devise a plan to ruin Christmas for the children in the village, Merry and her new found friend Elvin the Elf, fight back to save Christmas.  Merry’s kind heart and good deed leads her to Santa, who grants her greatest wish – acceptance.

“The children of St. Mary’s were an inspiration for this book.” stated Bobbi Hess.  “Our children struggle to be accepted and when they come to St. Mary’s, they are welcomed and loved.”

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each book will benefit St. Mary’s.  The hard cover book is available for a price of $15.95 plus tax and shipping.  “Merry The Christmas Witch” is also available for sale at St. Mary’s .  For further information contact Bobbi Hess at 318-445-6443, ext. 2106 or via e-mail – stmarysbobbi@hotmail.com.
